Ashley and his team did a fantastic job despite the, at times, horrendous weather conditions. The team as were hard working and at all times courteous and helpful in their work. In addition, when we made changes to the design and layout, they were very accommodating and indeed made their own suggestions on improvements. Overall, we have been delighted with the results of their hard work.
Halsey construction laid a front drive for us, they have a great work ethic, keep the area tidy overnight and when finished, they cleaned the area thoroughly. We’ve used them before and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Halsey Construction carried out a rebuild and extension to create an open plan kitchen/dinning area. Their attention to detail was superb, meaning the end result is more than I had expected. Ashley’s project management skills meant no day went by without a tradesman on the job and of them worked so well to create a lovely home for us. From the starting point of design to the end, nothing was an issue and they went beyond to ensure I was happy with tiles, flooring, paint colours etc. Would definitely recommend and would use them again for future projects

Excellent team of friendly and professional builders. Throughout the project they were clean and considerate and helpful. Carried out lots of extra labour to appease us to have exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. They also helped with all the interior fittings and fixtures. The build was finished within the time scale and costs despite the weather. Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again. We are so pleased with the work and the way it was done giving us a beautiful extension with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a orangery.
Ashley and his team did a fantastic job, they replaced the kitchen, painted the house top to bottom and layed a new floor throughout the downstairs. We've used them before, and have been excellent on each occasion. We would have no qualms about using them again, very professional, Ashley and Paul's aftercare is very courteous, they can't do enough. Very pleased.

I cannot recommend this family run local company enough. From day one it has been a pleasure to have Ashley and his crew working in our house. All workers have been friendly, professional and tidy from the start of the build from digging the foundation's to completing the finishing touches at the end. Before the start of the build we were given a full breakdown of the cost of the build and the final figure has not changed. Thank you Halsey Construction for providing us with our dream home!
Can’t praise these guys enough for their speed of response in initially making my roof water right after storm damage and their usual high quality of work - finding replacement matching tiles, doing full, quality repairs, and leaving the property clean and tidy - at a very reasonable price. No matter how big, or small the job is, whether it’s: roofing, construction, refurbishment, landscaping, general property maintenance, etc - Paul, Ashley and their team of skilled tradesmen are definitely the company I’d pick - every time. This was an excellent building company. The builders were all reliable, polite and efficient. They were also very clean, tidy and thoughtful to both us and our neighbours. The work has been completed to a good standard and we would highly recommend them to others
Ashley and his team did a great job, a very pleasing result. A few minor tweaks to the original plan were needed which improved the end result, but stuck to the quote. They are a friendly bunch and a pleasure to have them on our property to do the work. Will certainly use them again
What can I say, both Paul and Ashley were meticulous in the planning, making sure every detail was covered before the work started. During the build, they kept in constant contact, detailing what trade/person would be in next, and confirming what exactly we wanted, and that we were happy with the end product. They employ very professional and polite tradesmen. Can’t thank them enough and would not hesitate to use them again.
I have repeatedly chosen this family run business (Halsey construction) for the personal service, creativity and high quality of workmanship on every job they have done including: complete refurbishment and refit of new guest WC; tiling, major landscaping and redesign of multi tiered garden including substantial brickwork (with integral steps for my cat), groundwork, drainage, paving and fencing; construction of weatherproof outdoor seating area (perfect on rainy / winters days); installation of internal high pressure water system; installation of passageway timber shed and log / storage cupboard.
We cannot recommend Halsey Construction Ltd enough, their workmanship has been excellent and we are delighted with our finished extension. Both Paul and Ashley were great at communicating with us and both them and their team were always polite and accommodating. Cleaned up every day before leaving and ensured we were happy as the build progressed. Once started our build was quick, work carried out when promised ( weather permitting, we got snow and torrential rain) Wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to do any future work.
I have used Halsey Construction for various works in my house and always find the team professional. The bathroom refurb had its challenges but these were efficiently handled and I was always kept informed. I have recommended Halsey Construction to members of my family and friends.

Halsey Construction were absolutely brilliant. From the initial consultation and quotation, right through to completion, we were kept informed of timescales and plans for all the works. They left the area spotless everyday and took every care to inconvenience us as little as possible throughout the build. The quality of the work is excellent and we couldn't be happier with our garage conversion. We couldn't recommend them highly enough and will definitely be using them again for our future projects!
